On Sunday, March 30th, AEPi will be holding its philanthropy, Dumps for Dollars. Every brother is going to sell tickets, which represent one-foot by one-foot squares that will be painted onto a field next to our house. Then we will fence off the painted squares and place a cow onto the field. Finally, whichever square the cow "dumps" into, the winner will receive a $500 cash prize.
The proceeds for this event will be benefiting the Alpha Epsilon Pi Foundation, which has made pledges to three different Jewish Charities: Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, the Holocaust Memorial, and Chai Lifeline Charity. Shaare Zedek Medical Center works directly with Israeli Defense Forces and is one of the world's leading researchers for bio-chemical warfare response. The Chai Lifeline Charity provides financial support to terminally ill children in Israel.
The event is taking place Sunday, March 30th. We will be having a live band, Plebzy, featuring brothers of the house and giving away free food. We are asking for your support. Whether it is making a donation monetarily, purchasing a square from your son, or coming to the event itself, your donations will help us in making contributions to the great organizations listed above.
If you are interested in making a donation or purchasing a shirt or square, please contact Philanthropy Chair, Marc Kovarsky.
